  • Mic Test, 1 2...

For all the Guitar Hero Fans out there...

    Rock Band... w00t!

Rock is band is a new game by Harmonix, original creators of Guitar Hero (tho they don't make Guitar Hero anymore), that utilizes not only a guitar controller, but also bass guitar, drums, and a microphone.

It's slated to be released in Q4 2007, so probably around Christmas. Instant party, instant rock.

  • I'm Moving...

...back to Blogger.  I've simply had enough of Xanga.

I won't go on to say why I hate it, because the list would be massively long, but know that I do hate it because it's by far the worst blogging system on the planet.

Anyways, I've moved BACK to Blogger because I'm able to post at a rapid pace so expect more .joe like posts more frequently.  Also, Blogger has better RSS feeds (aka News Feeds), and instant photo-blogging via Picasa2+Hello.  Good for RSS type peeps, bad for Xanga only peeps.  Sorry, I just have to go.

Perhaps once in a while I'll come back and "update timestamp" on my xanga with a link to my Blogger to let you Xanga only people know that I'm updating, but we'll see how that goes.  Chances are, I probably won't end up doing because I'm just that lazy.  Yeah.

So in anycase, so long Xanga, I won't back until you change your ways, and probably by then, it still won't be good enough.

  • Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A

I love old games.  Even with all the wonderful graphics and well thought out physics of games of today, something seems to lack the emotional attachment that I've come to associate with the video games of yore.

GameTap has come to my rescue, and possibly yours too if you share my sentiment by old school games, aka Abandonware.

GameTap is a subscription based service that has all your favorite console/arcade games delivered right to your PC over any broadband connection.

It's simple, you download the GameTap client, and you instantly have your pick of all these games that only take mere moments to show up on your screen.  Not bad eh?

Oh did I mention that no Nintendo games are on there?  It makes sense since Nintendo will be releasing their own subscription based service to play every game made for any NES console ever.  Ah well
